Teddy Bear (Illustrator) FINISHED

I did this in a hurry but I finished (sort of) the teddy bear in illustrator. I was going to do my character but it got too difficult so I ended doing the bear.

ISD: Overview

This semester I've been working on a character design for my final project. I started off with just a female character but decided to make it half robot. With that idea I started drawing her and added metal to half her body.

Half the face is metal and that half has an eye with a clock and gears and it's design.

Throughout a few weeks I've been sketching out clothes designs and practicing on the eye design and I've been working on tattoos.

Today I finished the tattoo designs and started the final picture.

Today I worked on my thumbnail sketches.  I also learned a little more for the laser cutter.

Today I worked on my laser cut design and finished but haven't printed it out yet. For the laser cut design I had to restart it and fix it.

Today I worked on my laser cut design again.  I didn't get too much done because I was helping  someone else too.

Today I worked on a laser cut design.

Today we worked in Alchemy. What i did didn't save. It was interesting and it's hard to get used to. I also worked on my character design today for a few minutes.

Today I worked on some more sketching on paper and digitally.

today I found more reference pictures and things for what I'm designing. I'm designing a female character.

Today I worked in Illustrator and was able to cut out my initials with the laser cutter. It's pretty cool!!!

Today I learned how to use the Laser  Cutter and so the rest of the class I've been drawing something to use as my first cut. :) I still need to clean it up and set it up but this is my design so far :)

FINISHED: Octopus

I finished the Octopus :)

I continued on the octopus but I still need time to finish it.

Today I did a padlet for the CNC Router. I got 20 picture ideas :)

FINISHED: Vector Robot

Last class and this class I worked on my vector robot. Some things didn't work for me but I finished.

Last class I didn't post in my blog because, first, I ran out of time, and second, I didn't do much except watch the videos Cornell required. Today I worked on my robot. It looks alright but quite simple since I watched the videos.
Some things I couldn't get to work but I'm almost done. Next class I'll try to finish it. It's actually pretty fun.

Today, I watched more episodes to the Adobe Illustrator. I learned how to do different shapes and colors and fills and strokes. Not too much progress yet.

Today I didn't do much. I just had to watch episodes for adobe illustrator.

FINISHED Levitation Practice

Today we worked on the levitation practice in photoshop. Last class I wasted my time trying to blend colors and things together to make the picture look more realistic. Today Cornell showed the whole class a new trick so I ended up using the trick and finished before class ended. For how quick I was, I actually did pretty good, in my opinion, but I probably could've done better, like always. :)

I want to work at Pixar so this class is another step to get me closer to graduating, to get in the college I want, and to hopefully work at Pixar in the future.
